The mission of CU Bands and Fans is to contribute to the expansion of live local music in the Champaign-Urbana area by showcasing the bands, the fans and the venues that sponsor live local music.  and documenting the local music scene/events/fundraisers/festivals

 

We seek to do this by supplying photographs and both recorded and live videos of the many bands, their fans and the establishments that host live local music events, as well as supplying schedules of the events, so that others will want to attend these events.

 

Creating a platform for "Original Artists"  and their original music to be heard.  

 

We will continue to seek out new bands and establishments and have grown and expanded with a page in Indiana, Ogden, Utah and an upcoming page in Taucoma, WA.   

 

We will continue to provide the photographs, videos and schedules on our Facebook page and on our website.
